General Rule
Be nice and respectful. This community will not tolerate racism, bullying, excessive nudity, and excessive graphic content. We want to be a welcoming community and build a family. We do not want to impose an age limit either to this community. We will have a mix of all ages and hopefully have a good mix of role play experience too. If you feel offended, grossed out, or harassed by a post or a member please notify staff. We will also not be adding channels where this behavior is welcome.
In Game Rules
1. No metagaming
This is a standard in most role play communities. You can not use information gained out of character for your own characters benefits. We want members to be able to share what they did in sessions and show the progression of their characters. Using that information can void scenarios and possibly lead to further punishments.
2. No powergaming
Another pretty standard rule for role play. No power gaming means you can not force role play on another character. You can not say this (scenario) happened when it did not or when it is not agreed upon. This includes character death. We are introducing a non realistic element to our role play that can heal all wounds, even fatal. These are called "Founder Herbs." Taking these will heal your character so that you can keep your character alive until death is agreed upon.
3. No killing streaks
Players are allowed to kill other players and NPCs if the context is right. A player can face punishment when a player senselessly starts killing everyone and anyone because "they can." If staff thinks these killings are unjustified than the player will be kicked from session and could face further punishments within the community.
4. Be realistic
This is at its heart a realistic role play. So please think about the actions and items you use to make sure things could really happen. Staff may question certain actions and may even void certain scenarios if they believe that it is unrealistic.
5. Use correct channels and discord features.
To help our staff and to keep everything less cluttered please use the correct channel to make purchases, type for role play, to speak in role play. Please make transactions in the transaction channel, text role play in the in game text rp channel while in a session, oog text rp channel while not in session, and use the provided voice channel for in game voice rp. If these are not used correctly the scenario could be voided. If repeatedly misused the member could be punished.
6. Be respectful of RP style
Some players may use mics, some might use text. Respect their decision and be patient with them. Players might be young and have voices that might bother some people. Also respect them and be patient with them. We want to have large sessions so that means we want to have everyone a chance to role play in our community. So this might be poor role players, young role players, and new role players. I know they might be hard to play with but please be patient with them and try to help them get better.
7. Have fun!
Lastly have fun! This is a game and games are suppose to be fun. Do not take anything too serious, do not get too mad, and just try to enjoy yourself. If someone is ruining your fun just try to avoid them. You can join sessions without them or you can role play in scenarios away from them. If you can not void them please notify staff.
